My Bio
Hi! My name is Jelle Postma and I am from the Netherlands. I love to draw anime/manga style, play the piano, Japanese and messing around with my computer (in a healthy, good, productive way hehe..).
I started to draw mainly because I had to (a certain university demanded great drawing skills), but when I decided to go to a different school, it turned into a hobby and I've been drawing ever since. I love bright, happy, colorful and glowy pictures, and I am trying to find a drawing style that incorporates all those things. I'm still very much a beginner, but I'm trying to improve as much as I can.

Hi everyone! (if there are still people interested =P)
Wow I haven't posted on DA for ages... My life has become quite busy these days and I can't really seem to find the time to draw much. A little list of changes in my life:
- I've started a Game Development study which I enjoy very much and takes a lot of my time. I program a lot in my spare time too. With great results: my game is being sent to a university in Japan to show what kind of games my university creates! =) I'm very honored with that.
- I've completed the first book of "Remembering the Kanji". OMYGOD that took way too much time. I've spent every day of the last half year lea

Birthday!! And Japan!

Yesterday was my 19th birthday! I feel so old right now!
You'll never guess what I got as a present: a drawing tablet!
I'm so happy with it! It's just a small one though, one of the cheapest
my parents were able to find. But it's perfect for me, because
I'm not that good a drawer yet. And it's a Wacom! Heard great
things about that brand...
Anyway, it's working Like a dream! It does take some getting used To,
but I'm practicing a Lot! (this journal entry is completely written by hand).
l also got paint tool SAI (heard great things from that program as well),
so I'll be practicing alot with that program too.

I was planning on doing a look-I've-got-1000-views drawing,
but school is really killing me right now (they decided to
cram all the homework and tests in the 2 days after my
holiday...way to go, school!) so I'm going to have to do that
later. I'm not drawing a lot lately because of school too.
I do scetch around a bit when I finally have some free time
though, but I'm not going to post these sketches on DA,
because they kinda suck:P. It's mainly for practice purpose.
